Job Description:
Developing of Concept: To ensure that the design aligns with the client’s personality and requirements, interior designers would create design concepts, communicate ideas about themes, colour palettes and mood boards to gain client approval.
Management of Projects: To ensure the project is completed successfully, designers would oversee the design process from planning to execution, managing timelines, budgets, and coordinating with contractors, architects, and suppliers.
Communication and Coordination: Ensuring that work meets design expectations, designers would maintain regular communication with clients and project teams, addressing concerns and providing updates.
Product Selection: Interior designers would choose materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor. Designers would also manage balancing aesthetics, durability, maintenance, and budget considerations.
Maintaining Safety and Compliance: In creating spaces that are safe and legally compliant, interior designers would ensure that all designs adhere to building codes, safety regulations, accessibility standards, and sustainability practices.
Consultation with Clients: Meeting with clients to understand their needs, preferences, lifestyle, and budget. Would assess the space, take measurements, and gather information to translate the client’s vision into a practical design plan.
Visualization: Helping everyone visualize the final outcome, designers would present their ideas to clients and stakeholders using CAD software, sketches and 2D/3D renderings.
Planning of Space: This would include furniture placement, circulation patterns, and ensuring the space meets the intended purpose. Designers would also develop layouts and floor plans that optimize space usage, traffic flow and functionality.
